It's time to shake off the winter blues and dance into spring! Each year, just as Persephone returns to the Land of the Living, bringing with her warm weather and sunshine, Rosa Tatuata, ( Michela Musolino, vocals, tamburo; tamburello; Phil Passantino, guitar; accordion; Charlie Rutan; zampogna; ciaramedda; flute; JP Pannettieri, tamburello; marranzanu; saz; mandolino) perform the joyous, raucous, and passionate music of Sicily and Southern Italy to welcome her back and usher in Spring! Wherever they take their celebration becomes a piazza in Sicily where the audience can dance to the Folk and Roots music of Sicily and Southern Italy and learn some dance steps while they celebrate.
