One of the most beautiful songs written in Sicilian, Fammi Ristari was composed and written by Luciano Maio and first recorded by his group, Taberna Mylaensis, in 1976. Many hear this song and believe it to be a composition dating back to the 1600’s. That it is really a modern composition of Maio’s is a testament to the eminence of his musicianship and song-writing.
